Due to the limited nature of these sessions, they are not refundable and are not able to be rescheduled.

How is the Santa Experience different than other 'Santa pictures'?

Our Setup is 100% authentic, in that we do not photograph against a green screen. Instead, our entire Setup is staged with props and toys to make the entire experience realistic. Our main goal is that your children believe they are visiting Santa Claus at his workshop and not a photo studio. We will capture a series of images to go into one of our custom storybook albums.

Any photographer can snap a photo with "Santa", only a handful can transform these moments into timeless masterpieces.  Look carefully at our sample images.  Our entire process captures the natural and genuine expressions between Santa and your child combined with a storybook look that you won't find elsewhere.  Your child will spend a full 30 minutes with the Jolly Old Elf himself , ensuring a relaxed and memorable experience. This is a stark contrast to the hurried "back to back mini-sessions" and hours at the crowded shopping centers, where most children end up overwhelmed and distressed red-faced, screaming and running away from Santa, you’ll quickly understand the difference. 

Tell me about your Santa.

Our Santa is a Retired Army Veteran.  He also had a career in early childhood education, with a focus on special needs children.  He is a natural for this role.

What should my child wear?

NO GLITTER  NO GLITTER NO GLITTER

Formal attire or vintage wear can be worn as well as Solid color Christmas pajamas.

Boys-->Deep colored greens, reds, or dark blues are preferred

Girls-->A solid white nightgown

How long does the experience last?

The Santa Experience, is a one on one 30 minute interaction.

What age group is recommended?

We recommend a minimum age of five years or older to be able to fully interact with Santa.

The experience is family only.

Only immediate family members are scheduled per session.  To keep the experience personal, please, no more than two children per session, ages 4 and older please.  Up to two adults may observe the Santa Experience interaction.  Extended family will remain in our waiting area during the experience.

Cousins and outside family members must book back to back experiences for each family to be included and we will gladly accommodate the request.  Contact us for other arrangements.

Each family is required to have their own experience.

Parents are included

Yes, after the interaction with the children. Parents are welcome for a family portrait with Santa Claus, please have the parents come dressed to match the children and we will capture a moment as a group at the end of the experience. Please choose clothing to match your children.

How to prepare?

Make hair appointments two weeks before the interaction with Santa. Haircuts a few days before are not preferred. (Parents can land on the naughty list too !)

​Toddler's should plan their interaction outside of nap times and hungry hours.

When the Santa Experience is Sold out, is there a wait-list? 

Yes! Since the Magic Santa Experience sells out each year, we know that there are families who can’t get in with us. If you try to register and see that all sessions are sold out, please contact us to be put on our wait list. If we add another date, we will send an email to the families on our wait list. The first family to go online and book it will have the available time. 

What is the late policy?

Please, Please be on time. We have a waiting room, kitchen area, snack area, private mommy room, dressing areas and places to get ready. Come early if you need to!  You must be on time for your experience, or you risk forfeiting it. If you arrive 5 min late your session is only 25 min. 10 min late-20 min session and so forth. There are NO exceptions. 

My child may have a meltdown, what now?

The children are given ample time to warm up and welcome Santa at their own pace. Just sit back and silently watch the magic unfold.  We have certain activities geared to get the child engaged and help them feel at ease. This is an experience for your child to have with Santa, and we are just there to capture their genuine reactions.

When will I see my child's photos?

You will get to see your lightly retouched images at a viewing appointment within a week following the experience. At this time, you will envision the experience and what products you want to capture those moments to treasure at home. Any decision makers will need to be present at this time.  Please allow 60 minutes for this premiere and ordering process.

How will I know what to order? 

Our team will listen to your needs and help match the perfect products that ensure you will enjoy them for a lifetime! There will be storybooks, various sizes of wall portraits to display at home, ornaments, Christmas cards, etc. Our team will guide you through the entire process! 

Is there a payment plan?

Yes.  25% of your order is required up front. The rest may be split up over 3 months. However, the order is not delivered until final payment is made. Many clients will have numerous family member "chip in" and share with the products purchased. 

Can I get all of the digital files?

Memory Lane Photography guarantees that our print products will look amazing when you receive them. On the other hand, we can’t offer this guarantee when you order products from other photography print labs. They may have good quality or they may not. For this reason, digital files normally aren't sold. However, you can purchase individual images for $125 each OR place an artwork order over $500, and we will add the entire collection of standard high resolution digital images for $250 with our logo affixed.

Please remember, we GIFT you with web-sized files of any images that you purchase as a printed product.

Are all of the images ‘Magically Edited?’

All images are done individually, by hand, and no filters are used in production.  Our painting process can take hours to hand paint the scene that makes magic sparkles. For that reason, only images that are posed to reflect this special editing will have the magical effects added. However, it is recommend reserving those magic sparkle edits for wall art and storybook album covers.

What can I expect to spend?

Some clients will spend $200 and other clients purchase over $2,000. It all depends on which keepsakes you want to take home. We create products that spark joyful memories over a lifetime. And we assure you that the only regrets you might leave with are about the products you chose not to get!

Can other family members place their own orders?

Absolutely ! They can contact us and we will set up a time to come in and view the images. There is no fee for this. But we do require a separate purchase commitment of at least $250 to schedule another premiere.

Will I receive my artwork before Christmas?

If your appointment is scheduled during the week following your session, and your order is placed at that time, you should receive your items before Christmas.
